FairFlat, operated by Prudiq Limited, promotes that a share of its subscription revenue supports homelessness charities. Where that promise involves representing that a charity benefits from purchases, Prudiq Limited acts as a commercial participator under Part II of the Charities Act 1992, and this statement is given in that spirit.
1. The statement
10% of FairFlat subscription revenue will be given to homelessness charities. For every eligible FairFlat Premium subscription, a sum equal to 10% of the subscription revenue we receive is committed to one or more registered homelessness charities named in our published charity partnerships.
2. What proportion, and to whom
- Proportion: 10% of FairFlat subscription revenue, calculated on the amount we actually receive after payment-processor fees and refunds.
- Beneficiaries: one or more registered homelessness charities in the United Kingdom, to be named here once each partnership agreement is in place.
- What the charity receives: the charity receives the donated sum in full. FairFlat does not deduct an administration fee from the donated portion.
3. How and when we pay
Donations are calculated on subscription revenue recognised in each period and paid to the named charities on a regular schedule (for example quarterly), under a written agreement with each charity that sets out the arrangement and any use of the charity’s name and logo.
4. Creator rewards are separate
Rewards paid to creators under the Creator Programme are a marketing cost and are separate from the charitable donation. The 10% charitable commitment is calculated on subscription revenue, not reduced by creator rewards.
5. Transparency
We will publish the named charities and, where appropriate, amounts donated. If the proportion or beneficiaries change, we will update this statement before making the revised claim in our marketing.
