These terms govern your participation in the FairFlat Creator Programme (the “Programme”), operated by Prudiq Limited trading as FairFlat (“FairFlat”, “we”, “us”). By accepting your invitation and signing at onboarding, you agree to them. The Programme is invite-only.
1. Your relationship with FairFlat
You take part as an independent, self-employed individual. You are not our employee, worker, or agent, and nothing here creates an employment, partnership, or joint-venture relationship. You decide whether, when, and how you create content. You are responsible for your own tax and National Insurance.
You may not hold yourself out as able to bind FairFlat, enter agreements on our behalf, or make promises to your audience beyond what these terms and our published materials support.
2. How rewards are earned
- You receive a unique link, share code, and QR. A referral is attributed when a household sets up on FairFlat through your link or code.
- Reward is paid per confirmed household, not per person. A household counts once, however many flatmates join.
- The standard rate is £2 to £4 per confirmed household, depending on your confirmed volume. Your current rate is shown on your dashboard and is snapshotted when a new household enters its qualification window, so later tier changes do not rewrite an old reward. Rates and tier thresholds may change on reasonable notice.
- A household enters a 14-day qualification window when it is set up through your attribution. It confirms when at least two household members have used FairFlat meaningfully on at least three separate days during that window.
- You receive an additional £10 annual Premium bonuswhen an attributed household buys annual Premium within 60 days of entering its qualification window.
3. Confirmation, holds, rejections, and clawback
- 14-day qualification. A newly attributed reward is shown as pending while the household completes the activity check. It becomes confirmed and withdrawable when that check clears.
- Held. We may hold a reward while we review unusual or suspected non-genuine activity.
- Rejected. Rewards linked to fake, self-referred, incentivised-beyond-policy, or fraudulent sign-ups are rejected and not paid.
- Clawback. If a reward is paid and later found to be invalid (for example fraud, chargeback, or a household that was never genuine), we may reclaim it by offsetting future rewards or requesting repayment.
4. Payments, self-billing, and tax
Payments follow the Payout Policy: a £10 minimum balance, paid monthly to your verified bank or PayPal after qualification clears. Rewards are your own income. You are responsible for declaring it to HMRC where required.
The UK trading allowance may mean small amounts of casual income do not need to be reported, but thresholds and your circumstances vary. This is general information, not tax advice. If in doubt, speak to HMRC or an accountant. Where we operate self-billing, you agree we may raise self-billed statements on your behalf for rewards earned.
5. Advertising disclosure (mandatory)
Because your rewards are incentivised, UK law requires every post promoting FairFlat to be clearly and prominently labelled as an ad (for example “Ad” or “#ad”) before a viewer engages. See the Ad Disclosure Policy. Failure to disclose is a breach of these terms.
6. Suspension and removal
We may suspend or remove you from the Programme, and withhold unconfirmed rewards, for non-disclosure of ads, fraud or manipulation of referrals, content that is misleading, unlawful, discriminatory, or harmful, or any material breach of these terms. Confirmed rewards already earned before removal are still paid unless they are subject to clawback under section 3.
7. Content and intellectual property
You own the content you create. You grant FairFlat a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to reshare and feature your FairFlat-related content across our channels while you are on the Programme, with credit. You must not use FairFlat branding in a way that implies endorsement beyond your participation, and you must follow our brand guidance. FairFlat trademarks and assets remain ours.
8. Data protection
We process your personal data (contact details, handles, payout and identity information, and referral activity) to run the Programme, make payments, and meet legal obligations, as controller under UK GDPR. We share payout and identity data with payment and verification providers as needed. You have rights of access, correction, and erasure. Full detail is in the FairFlat privacy notice.
9. Changes, liability, and law
We may update these terms on reasonable notice; continued participation means acceptance. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our liability to you is limited to rewards properly due but unpaid. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
